Liberal Democrats are backing residents in their fight to make improvements to Hove and Brighton seafronts.

Problems this summer range from anti-social behaviour, crime, vandalism and disturbances through to problems with litter and waste.

The issues occur from the east of the city to the west, including in wards such as Westbourne, Central Hove, Brunswick & Adelaide and Regency.

Lib Dem Councillors were the first to raise the problems, and now say enough is enough.

Councillor Paul Elgood commented: 'We now need action from the Council and Police. We will continue raising these issues until we get the response we require.'
