Say NO to I D Cards

Local Lib Dem activist Ben Herbert continued his campaign against ID cards by visiting the Houses of Parliament on Monday 16th January, when the government suffered three defeats on sections of the ID card bill. Ben took the opportunity to discuss the Government's plans with Lib Dem Peers.

Commenting on the defeats Ben said "I think that we can all be pleased with this defeat for government, it was most gratifying to witness their lordships defeating this highly discriminatory, illiberal, and costly motion put forward by our nanny-state government".
