David backs Hove Library disabled access

Hove Library

Councillor David Watkins has backed plans for a new disabled lift and other access improvements at Hove Library. The Liberal Democrats have long campaigned for the improvements to be made.

David said: 'A lift there has been long overdue. We were pleased to support there improvements, although would have preferred to see much greater improvements made to provide residents with the kind of Library they deserve.'

Last year, Lib Dem Councillors made a decisive intervention to keep the Library in its historic home. These improvements have now followed.
