A huge increase in pavement clutter is driving residents mad, especially those who have disabilities such as poor eye sight. Over the years the problem has grown and grown until now major thorough-fares such as Church Road and Western Road are continuously clogged up. Residents also hate the huge number of ugly signs, boards and unnecessary poles which blight the look of our historic conservation areas.

Local Lib Dems want to see pavements returned to people and also want to see a reduction in the number of unnecessary obstacles and poles on the roads. They are asking residents for their help by nominating problem instances and will take up each case with the Council, demanding action. Let us know your worse examples below or by email to info@brighton-hovelibdems.org.uk.
