The City Council should do more to decorate Brighton & Hove for Christmas say Liberal Democrats. The call comes after complaints that Brighton and Hove City Council has done little to decorate the City this year.

Liberal Democrats persuaded the City Council to celebrate events such as Pride this year by lighting the Pavilion in pink and flying the rainbow flag from Town Halls. Now they want to see events and festivals, such as Christmas, marked throughout the City.

Lib Dem Councillor Paul Elgood said: 'This is a really case of Christmas meanness. So much more could be done.'
