Norman Baker MP welcomes Chris Anderson's appointment

The city's Liberal Democrats proudly announced today that they have appointed Chris Anderson as their Environment Campaigner. Environmental issues are at the heart of the party's thinking, and this move shows that they are committed to getting the message across that someone is listening.

Norman Baker, MP for Lewes, welcomes the appointment, and will be working closely with Chris Anderson to ensure that the council manage the city in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

Chris will be working hard with Liberal Democrats councillors to ensure that the council is considering the environmental perspective. The Liberal Democrats want to give people the chance to live in an environmentally friendly way.

Chris Anderson said:

"The council is starting to head in the right direction, but there is a lot of work to be done to make our city environmentally friendly."
