USA President George W. Bush

No More Bush!

The Opposition Society, Sussex University's Liberal Democrat Student club will be "waxing for peace" in protest over George Bush's visit to Britain this November.

"We've got rid of our bush, so you get rid of yours!" says Pip Latimer, president of the society.

The Opposition Society is unhappy with the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as George Bush's refusal to sign the Kyoto Protocol, which is an international agreement to safeguard our environment.

"We refuse to stand by while Bush makes a mess of our world," says Chris Anderson, Liberal Democrat Campaigner for Goldsmid Ward and last year's president.

The society will be setting up camp in Sussex University's Library Square on the 4th November to recruit more people to join in their "wax for peace" campaign. There has even been talk of posting the pubes to political authorities and the press in the USA.

"We are going to send them a message, No More Bush!" says Shelly Coles.
