Kennedy sends Pride Message

Kennedy: Support to Pride.

Liberal Democrat Leader Charles Kennedy MP has sent a message of support for this year's Pride in Brighton & Hove celebrations.

In his message, which appears in the programme he said:

"Once again I am delighted to be able to send my support and best wishes to everyone attending Brighton and Hove Pride 2003. The Liberal Democrats believe passionately in equality of opportunity for everyone in our society irrespective of their colour, race, sex or sexual orientation."

"Events such as Pride in Brighton and Hove are not only an important celebration, but also help to raise awareness of the LGBT communities all over Britain."
