Lib Dems Contest All Seats in City Elections

Election Count: Lib Dems are fighting every seat in Brighton and Hove.

Liberal Democrats will contest every seat in this year's city elections. The team includes current Mayor David Watkins, Lib Dem Group Leader Paul Elgood and sitting Councillors Dawn Davidson, Mark Barnard and Jenny Barnard-Langston. New faces with a good chance of victory include Kevin Donnelly in the marginal Regency ward and former councillors Bob Bailey, Jo Lake (both Goldsmid) and Brian Ralph (Westbourne) are looking for a comeback.

Lib Dem Group Leader Councillor Paul Elgood said:

"This is a winning team for Brighton and Hove. We are presenting a full slate of experience and expertise capable of making a real difference in this election. We are excited about our prospects and are already receiving a warm welcome from residents when out canvassing."
