Kevin Donnelly: Meeting gave residents a chance to quiz police officers directly.

At a packed public meeting on Thursday night residents had the chance to quiz local Police Commander, Chief Inspector Jane Rhodes.

The meeting was organised by the local Lib Dems in reaction to concerns raised with them. Cllr Paul Elgood chaired the meeting and Cllr David Watkins also spoke.

Regency Lib Dem Kevin Donnelly said: 'It was a good meeting which gave residents a chance to quiz police officers directly on issues such as the problems around Norfolk Square and Cambridge Road.'

The meeting will be followed up in three months time to review progress on these issues.
