Top Lib Dem Councillor Dawn Davidson and Kevin Donnelly will contest Regency ward for the Liberal Democrats in May's local elections. The party had previously selected Billy Dann to fight the ward but he had to stand down for work reasons. The Lib Dems have been working hard in the ward over the last year and hoping for success in May.

Kevin Donnelly and Dawn Davidson are a strong team for Regency

Kevin Donnelly said:

"Lib Dems have placed a hard-hitting team to fight May's local elections in Regency ward. Councillor Dawn Davidson and I have been out listening to and campaigning on the issues that affect local people."

"The problems local residents face today such as anti-social behaviour in areas such as Norfolk Square and poor recycling facilities are the same problems faced a year ago. Labour just isn't listening and that needs to change."

Councillor Dawn Davidson added:

"Local residents deserve better from the council. Regency ward needs councillors who are listening to residents on a daily basis and who don't just appear to be concerned in the last few months before an election."
